Construction Project Superintendent Ashley Smith Construction LLC Covington, LA 70433 Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes. Duties Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring that work is executed according to project plans, specifications, and timelines. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site. Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating with project managers and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks. Review blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate implementation of plans. Serve as the primary point of contact for all on-site communications, facilitating effective communication among project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers. Identify potential issues and proactively implement solutions to mitigate risk and keep the project on track. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly. Provide regular updates to project managers regarding progress, challenges, and any changes to project scope or timelines Experience Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction processes, blueprint reading, and contract management. Proficient in using technology for project management (Bluebeam) and equipment operation (Ohmmeter). Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
