Transmission Line Construction Manager Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Construction Manager to oversee a substation and transmission line project in North Louisiana and throughout the Gulf Coast region. This role is pivotal to a mega expansion project for a data center between Rayville and Delhi, LA, involving the construction of three substations and four transmission lines. The Construction Manager will lead subcontractor crews, ensuring high performance and quality standards, while managing a team of up to 25 individuals. Responsibilities Drive subcontractor performance to meet project goals. Lead and manage subcontractor crews in the construction of substations. Ensure overall production quality and efficiency of the project. Supervise and coordinate the work of a team of up to 25 people. Ensure construction subcontractors adhere to safety, quality, and contract standards. Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders. Conduct standardized reporting and appropriate construction meetings. Essential Skills Experience in Substation Construction Management. Distribution Construction Management experience. Electrical distribution and power delivery expertise. Proficiency in construction documents and QA/QC processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Entergy project experience is a plus. Experience in project management, transmission, and safety. Strong computer and reporting skills. Experience with Entergy and distribution work is favorable. Work Environment This role involves working in the field to coordinate the work of subcontractor crews, typically requiring 50+ hours per week. Expect 10-hour workdays for five days a week, with a standard per diem and overtime pay. The project offers holidays and PTO, billed back to the customer. The role is part of a long-term initiative, with future project work opportunities due to a growing footprint within Entergy and other utilities. Dress code is field-appropriate attire.
