ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Personnel Directly supervise all program staff during their shifts. Ensure all program support and services are provided while on shift, including supporting coordinators with the program schedule and assisting the Residential Coordinator 2 with finding coverage. Ensure all program staff maintain expected levels of participation in program operations. Provide on-the-job training, mentoring, and modeling for all employees and direct their activities during their shifts. Facilities A significant part of the role is ensuring the home has an inviting physical appearance. We strive to ensure that the items in the house reflect the interests and preferences of the individuals we support, creating a comfortable and personalized living environment. As the Shift Coordinator, you ensure that the home complies with licensing indicators and safety regulations outlined in the Safety Plan. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety are crucial to our operations. You will also be responsible for submitting work orders for any areas that require assistance from the facilities department. Quality Assurance Assure that ISP goals and objectives are followed through with and that required documentation exists for each goal area. Communicate effectively with the Residential Coordinator 2 and clinical department to ensure all needed support is available to each area of interest and/or need. Evaluate the unique support needs not included within the ISP process and utilize all resources delivered to address these needs. Attend all required meetings and training. Track individual entitlements and expenditures using standard accounting practices. Assure staff decisions are based upon the individual’s choice and empowerment. Ensuring all documentation is collected and submitted to the electronic database. Administrative Ensure that all required documentation is completed promptly and by established guidelines. As the Shift Coordinator, your responsibilities extend beyond overseeing operations, including promoting high employee morale. Your leadership and team-building skills will be crucial in cultivating a positive work environment where every team member feels valued and essential to our success. Positively and accurately promotes and plays a crucial part in the organization’s mission, vision, and values of community, commitment, and continuous Learning. Ensuring and enhancing community integration for the individuals we support with a person-centered approach. Responsible for the outcome of the Survey and Certification Review. As a Shift Coordinator, maintaining open and effective communication with DDS Service Coordinators, parents, guardians, employees, other team members, vendors, and the community is crucial. Your dedication to this aspect of your role ensures that everyone is informed and involved in the care and support of the individuals we serve, fostering a sense of community and shared responsibility. All program communications need to be reported promptly to the Residential Coordinator 2 Report any suspicion of abuse or neglect to DPPC as a mandated reporter. Ensure that medications are available at home and the medication ordering protocol is followed. The Medication Administration Program (MAP) policy is also being adhered to. Assist with any medical appointments and all necessary follow-ups.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE
Three years of experience in Human Services, proven leadership skills, and a high school diploma/GED. Proven track record as a team player capable of influencing all levels of management.
