VP Contract Surety Insurance – New Bedford, MA VP Vice PresidentExecutive Director Program Manager Product Manager UnderwriterUnderwriting Manager Team Leader Commercial Contract Surety _ .Supervise group of Commercial Surety underwriters ensuring thatunderwriting practices and guidelines are followed and pricing,risk selection and quality is sound.

Commercial Surety BondsServiced include:

License and Permit, Mortgage Broker, Liquor,Utility, Warehouse, Auctioneer, Lottery, Fuel Tax, Auto Dealer,etc.

Activities:

Build strong relationships with wholesale brokersand work to ensure continued business. Implement, execute, andmanage the underwriting appetite, guidelines, referrals, andauthorities. Underwrite risk utilizing claims history, financialstatus, and rate plans to determine coverage limits, pricing,conditions, and terms. Establish and promote underwritingbest-practices to guide team members in profitable and sustainableunderwriting activities. Provide guidance, leadership, andmotivation to staff underwriters, training team members in noveltechniques. Compensation to $300,000 including bonus plan; companymatched 401(K) and pension; full family company paid prescription,medical and dental plan; discounted personal lines insurance;fitness club membership; tuition reimbursement; credit union;generous vacation and paid time off; up to 4 weeks paid vacation.
