Job Description

With oversight from the Preconstruction Director and Managers, provideproject-related cost estimates to support the preparation of bidpackages. Prepare regular reports for stakeholders including ownership,and the senior management of Lee Kennedy Co., Inc. Assist with thedistribution of bid-related documents. Assist the PreconstructionManagers in calculating project material, equipment, labor, and otherrequirements. Analyze project documentation and obtain input fromdesigners, engineers, architects, and owners to prepare time, cost,material, and labor estimates. Provide analysis of historical cost datato help forecast bid feasibility. Assist in the coordination andcommunication with subcontractors on bids and negotiated projects.

Provide estimates of subcontractor requirements, including humanresources, tools and equipment, skilled labor requirements, and overallscope of work. Assist in the preparation of Requests for Proposals(RFPs), and responses to Requests for Information (RFIs). Serve as aliaison between the Preconstruction Department and the Document Controlteam in the set up and management of construction bid documents andinformation related to projects. Maintain communication with all projectparticipants and stakeholders. Utilize both industry-standard andcustomized company software products including ISqFt, OnScreen Takeoff(OST), Assemble, and Microsoft Office.
