Looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to joinone of Boston’s leading General Contractors to manage large,complex Multifamily projects throughout the local area. ConstructionProject Manager you will:

Establish the project control plan.

Control the rate of production and quality on all projects, theirassociated cost and expected receipts. Establish base line andmonitor construction schedules. Insure construction schedules areadhered and deadlines met. Secure building permits, licenses andoccupancy certificates. Monitor/control construction throughadministrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensurebuilding the project on schedule and within budget. Investigatepotentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.

Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rentalequipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company’s interest andsimultaneously maintain good relationship with client andArchitect. Review job cost reports and maintain accurate and timelyindicated cost reporting. Coordinate meetings with Owner’srepresentatives, Architects/Engineers for obtaining approvals tojointly discuss procedures, progress, problems and scheduling.

Assist in preparation of bid day information. Author and issuemeeting minutes promptly. Schedule and assist in progress meetingswith Trade Contractors and Construction Superintendents. Securescheduling for equipment, material, shop drawing submittals anddeliveries. Assume additional responsibilities or special projectsas needed Profile The successful Sr.

Construction Project Managerwill have:

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management,Engineering, Building Construction Technology, or related fieldpreferred 7-10 years of experience as a Project Manager (leadingown projects) Multifamily project experience preferred or projectexperience within one of the other core markets served (assistedliving, commercial, academic, healthcare) Must have ground upconstruction experience Ability to plan, organize, and coordinatemultiple projects Strong literacy of MS Word and Excel Strongunderstanding of construction technology (Procore, Bluebeam,Timerbline/Sage, MS Project, etc.) Strong communication andinterpersonal skills Job Offer The Sr.
