We’re looking for a mission-driven, compassionate professional to join our dynamic team.
In this impactful role, the Trauma Response and Critical Incident Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring timely, compassionate, and effective responses to traumatic events and crises affecting individuals, workplaces, schools, and communities.
This vital position serves as the first point of contact for incoming requests from the call center, providing consultative triage and coordination for critical incident responses, and assigning the most appropriate clinician or Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) responder.
The Trauma Response and Critical Incident Coordinator collaborates closely with the Clinical Manager to maintain tracking systems, collect data, and support the delivery of high-quality trauma-informed services. This role involves both in-person and virtual service delivery, and may require travel throughout the region.

Schedule:

Full Time, 40 hours per week
Generally, this will be M-F 9-5 with flexibility; Some flexibility may be required to support urgent response needs. Travel across Massachusetts is expected.

Pay Rate Range:

$31.25 – $32.21 – depending on experience and language skills

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of trauma-informed principles, crisis triage, and consultation best practices
Must possess excellent judgment, especially around assessing clinical complexity and knowing when to escalate
Must have exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with database management, Microsoft Office, and collaborative platforms such as Monday.com or equivalent
Technological proficiency, including comfort with virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams), online training tools, and electronic documentation systems and the ability to quickly learn new platforms used for virtual training and documentation
Ability to manage competing priorities and remain calm in high-pressure or fast-moving situations
Proven ability to build rapport and work cross-culturally with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds
Understanding of and sensitivity to the communication needs of a neurodiverse population
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation; willingness to travel throughout the region for responses and training
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, public health, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years experience in crisis services, or trauma response settings
