Description The Senior SuperintendentResponsibilies:
Oversee all field operations, ensuring projects arecompleted on time, within budget, and to the highest qualitystandards. Lead and manage on-site construction teams, fosteringcollaboration and efficiency. Coordinate subcontractor and supplieractivities to maintain project schedules and workflow. Ensurecompliance with all safety regulations and industry best practices.
Serve as the primary point of contact for field operations, workingclosely with the project management team. Conduct regular siteinspections, addressing any issues that arise and implementingcorrective actions as necessary. Manage project documentation,including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports.
Participate in project meetings, providing insights on schedule,logistics, and construction challenges. Mentor and develop juniorteam members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Profile The ideal
Senior Superintendent Candidate:
10 years ofexperience in the construction industry, with a strong backgroundin large-scale projects ($50M preferred). Proven experiencemanaging public/academic/K-12 construction projects (preferred)Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability tocoordinate effectively across multiple teams. Proficiency withconstruction management software, including Procore, P6, andBIM/VDC. Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently in afast-paced environment.
