Anticipated Opening Work-Based Learning Coordinator (Grant-Funded)Brockton Public Schools is seeking a Work-Based Learning Coordinator for Edison Academy for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year to support scholars participating in work-based learning experiences. This position is grant-funded through the Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership (MAP) Grant and provides an opportunity to assist scholars in developing valuable workforce skills while ensuring successful program implementation.

Qualifications:

Experience with work-based learning protocolsKnowledge of the Massachusetts Work-Based Learning PlanExperience providing professional development on work-based learningMultilingual candidates preferred (Spanish, Haitian Creole, Cape Verdean Creole, and Portuguese)

Essential Responsibilities:

Identify and assess scholars eligible for the work-based learning programEvaluate, select, and establish work sites that align with scholar goalsMeet with scholars and work supervisors to set learning objectives that enhance productivity and job skillsDevelop, monitor, and adjust training plans in collaboration with work site supervisors and scholarsProvide work site supervisors with guidance on effective scholar mentorshipInform work supervisors and scholars of their roles and responsibilitiesConduct two evaluations of scholars’ performance and progress during the programProvide a written report summarizing scholar performance and learning outcomes

$39.70/hour, capped at $3,000 total
