Looking for a Construction Project Manager to join one of theBoston’s top rated Custom Home Builders! Client Details My clientis one of Boston’s most reputable and established Custom HomeBuilders! Based in Boston 30 years in business 40 people on theirteam 75% of their work is in downtown, 25% in the immediate Bostonsuburbs Projects include new construction homes, renovations &additions Projects include single-family houses, townhomes,brownstones, and condos Has received numerous awards for theircraftmanship Homes up to $5M Description As the ConstructionProject Manager, you will: Establish the project control plan.
Control the rate of production and quality on all projects, theirassociated cost and expected receipts. Establish base line andmonitor construction schedules. Insure construction schedules areadhered and deadlines met. Secure building permits, licenses andoccupancy certificates. Monitor/control construction throughadministrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensurebuilding the project on schedule and within budget. Investigatepotentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rentalequipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company’s interest andsimultaneously maintain good relationship with client andArchitect. Review job cost reports and maintain accurate and timelyindicated cost reporting. Coordinate meetings with Owner’srepresentatives, Architects/Engineers for obtaining approvals tojointly discuss procedures, progress, problems and scheduling.
Assist in preparation of bid day information. Author and issuemeeting minutes promptly. Schedule and assist in progress meetingswith Trade Contractors and Construction Superintendents. Securescheduling for equipment, material, shop drawing submittals anddeliveries.
