The Site Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all onsite construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with project teams and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate work onsite to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and subcontractors
Plan for material deliveries to meet project schedules
Solve onsite issues promptly and efficiently
Complete daily logs to document project progress and incidents
Organize and conduct subcontractor meetings to discuss project updates
Lead the onsite project team, ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals
Read and understand project plans to guide construction activities
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and regulations
Create and maintain a safe work environment for all staff and visitors.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role in construction
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks effectively
Knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations
Experience in coordinating subcontractors and suppliers
Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and project plans
Ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
