Environmental LLC (SCE), a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Construction
Holdings, LLC is expanding its workforce and is seeking a General
Foreman to join our growing Civil Business Line. The Civil General
Foreman is responsible for overseeing construction activities and
managing field personnel on civil engineering projects. This role
ensures that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance
with project specifications and timelines. The General Foreman will
serve as a key liaison between project management and the construction
crew.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a
descriptive list of the range of duties, but not all duties performed
for this position. Other duties may be assigned. Lead and manage daily operations on the construction site,
overseeing labor, equipment, and materials.
Enforce safety regulations and protocols, conducting regular safety
meetings and inspections to minimize risks.
Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between
project management, site management and workers.
Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and
resource needs to direct supervisor
Mentor and train site personnel, promoting skill development and
adherence to best practices.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used,
timesheets and personnel on-site.
Identify and interview potential new craft employees.
Conduct yearly performance evaluations with all craft employees.
Ensure appropriate paperwork and assigned training/ tasks are
completed in the allotted timeframe.
Attend personnel specific meetings
Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed
are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or equivalent required
5+ years proven experience as a foreman or supervisor in civil
construction projects.
8-10+ years’ experience on 3 or more pieces: Dozer, excavator with
most common attachments, loader, water truck, haul truck, back-hoe,
skid steer, Lull, etc.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and
project management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical
drawings.
Proficient in GPS systems
Knowledgeable of most common soil types, materials, soil
classifications and the requirements for working with each.
Utility experience on how to perform one or more of the roles
associated with utility installation safely, efficiently, and
productively.
Familiar with current industry standards and practices.
Extensive travel is required
Additional Requirements:
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a
pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptable
background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also
obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain
access to military installations.
