Project manager role with a reputable, large general contractingfirm that works in the Greater St. Louis area. This position doesoffer flexibility with competitive compensation packages. Anindividual in this role will work closely with owners and owner’srepresentatives, as well as architects, designers, propertymanagers, consultants and subcontractors. Client Details My clienthas over 60 years of construction industry experience with over 200employees across the country along with a nationwide presence. Theyare a design build general contractor with a focus on tilt-up(warehouses, distribution centers), healthcare, commercial, andfederal projects. They offer a progressive thinking and cater tothe construction professionals who are seeking work life balanceadvantages and exciting projects. They are looking for a ProjectManager who has a background working on large scale DoD/Federalprojects. Description Establish and maintain positive and confidentrelationships with owners and owner’s representatives, as well asarchitects, designers, property managers, consultants andsubcontractors. Provide overall management direction and ensureexecution of multiple construction projects. Establish and maintainclear communication and delegation between all project teammembers. Financial management of all phases of projects(estimating, bidding, cost tracking to closeout). Attendpre-bid/site review meetings. Estimate construction budgets andreview/prepare bid packages. Manage and lead meetings with clients,consultants and subcontractors. Monitor the performance of theproject superintendents and ensure the highest industry standardsare met by all subcontracted trades. Prepare and maintain projectschedules and coordinate scope of work for all trades. Apply nowand your resume will be reviewed within 24 hours. ProfileBachelor’s degree required (degree in Engineering, Architecture, orConstruction Management is a plus). 5-10 years of experience in theconstruction industry. Experience managing multiple projects at atime. Experience with ground-up or build-out federal projects $20MAbility to run projects from inception through close-out. Workingknowledge of commercial construction technology and details. Mustbe extremely proficient reviewing and understanding allconstruction documents including specifications and drawings. Goodcommunication skills with various parties including management,subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
