DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Coordinates Expediting List with the Project Engineer forprocurement materials to be delivered at specified times to conformto work schedules, in accordance with SOP. CoordinatesSubcontractors work in proper sequence while keeping the overallscheduled completion done. Conducts weekly Subcontractor meetingsand reviews 3-week short interval schedule, current qualitymanagement or activities and overall jobsite safety. Confers withand directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged inplanning and executing work procedures, interpretingspecifications, and coordinating various phases of construction toprevent delays. Obtains and monitors all permits, buildingcertificates and City inspections. Must become familiar with alllocal building enforcement procedures, in accordance with SOP.Confers with General Superintendents, supervisory and engineeringpersonnel, inspectors, suppliers of materials to resolveconstruction problems and improve construction methods. Enforcesthe organizations Safety policies in accordance the SOP and byestablishing a climate that emphasizes safety on the job. Inspectswork in progress to ensure that workmanship and materials conformto specifications and the adherence to construction schedules.
Review Cost Reports and complete Back Charges in accordance withSOP. Prepares or reviews reports on progress, materials used andcosts, punch lists daily diaries, billing sheets pictures andadjusts work schedules as indicated by reports. Coordinates andapprovals all time and material costs with various sub-contractors.
Maintains daily paperwork. Other Duties as assigned.
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS
At least 7 years of experience supervising allphases of ground up commercial construction projects with a generalcontractor. Must be willing to travel as business requires. Highlymotivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and takinginitiative. Professional with the ability to effectivelycommunicate with all levels of the organization.
