Crew Chief – Water Division Position Available In St. Louis, Missouri

We’re hiring an experienced Crew Chief to lead water restoration crews in the field. You’ll oversee the full project lifecycle—from job site setup to final inspection—while managing technicians, ensuring quality, and serving as the point of contact for homeowners and partners.

What You’ll Do:

Project Oversight & Field Leadership Manage restoration projects from initial assessment through final documentation Supervise WTR technicians and lead crew performance on job sites Ensure containment, drying equipment, and moisture monitoring are set up correctly Make adjustments to drying strategies based on field conditions Team Supervision & Training Delegate tasks and ensure proper use of PPE and safety procedures Lead safety briefings and job site orientations Mentor and train new technicians on SERVPRO standards and IICRC best practices Help with scheduling crew assignments and labor distribution Quality Control & Documentation Perform quality checks to ensure work meets IICRC and SERVPRO standards Review moisture maps, logs, photos, and drying reports for completeness and accuracy Ensure daily documentation from field teams is properly submitted and stored Client & Stakeholder Communication Serve as the main on-site contact for customers during the restoration process Provide updates, explain processes, and resolve customer concerns professionally Coordinate with estimators, project managers, and adjusters to align fieldwork with scope Compliance & Standards Enforcement Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and local building codes Manage on-site safety protocols and respond to inspections or audits Stay up to date with IICRC certification and continuing education

What We’re Looking For:

IICRC WRT

Jeff and Sandy have been awarded the Gold Book Society Award and are honored to have a Radiology Room at the newly built hospital dedicated to them. Jeff and Sandy have donated over $100,000 to the hospital as a result of their Annual SERPVRO Golf Tournaments to benefit the hospital. Jeff and Sandy pride themselves on being locally owned, great work ethic and service they provide to their customers. This starts with their team of “HEROES” in the field, office staff and marketing team. In 2008, they expanded their presence in the community by purchasing another franchise license.
