Your Key Responsibilities:
As an HVAC Estimatorand Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role by: Manage entiremechanical construction projects from conception to completion.
Coordinate with a diverse project team, including engineering, VDC(BIM) designers, scheduler, field foremen, customers, andsubcontractors. Possess a deep understanding of projects forefficient material ordering, subcontracting, billing, andmanagement of RFIs, change orders, and submittals. Overseefabrication shop work packages, ensuring a clear grasp of content,including detail drawing review, material take-off, buyout, andman-hour fabrication budget. Collaborate with the Safety Departmentto analyze, manage, and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliancewith safety regulations. Proactively plan, resolve issues, andensure contractual conditions are met, while working with SeniorProject Manager and team for mentorship and training.
YourQualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have: 5 Years ofHVAC Estimating /
Project Management Experience:
A robustfoundation in HVAC and/or Piping estimating and project managementis essential. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management,Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Diverse ProjectPortfolio:
Showcase your adaptability with demonstrated experiencein a variety of project types, including higher education,government, healthcare, industrial, and commercial buildingprojects.
Estimation Expertise:
Proficiency in estimating HVACproject costs, crafting cost estimates, reviewing plans andspecifications, researching materials, reading blueprints,evaluating bids, and preparing proposals.
Industry Awareness:
Keeping up-to-date with current industry trends to remaincompetitive.
Effective Communication Skills:
Strong interpersonalskills for seamless collaboration.
Code and SpecificationKnowledge:
Familiarity with energy codes and projectspecifications.
Organizational Skills:
Maintaining well-organizedrecords of completed estimates.
