Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience We are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Part-Time Construction Project Manager to assist in overseeing and coordinating a commercial build-out project. Role:
You will work closely with internal leadership and external vendors to manage the day-to-day operations and timelines of our facility build-out. This includes coordinating contractors, ensuring quality control, and keeping the project on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all phases of the construction process Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and city officials Monitor project progress and provide status updates to leadership Ensure compliance with safety codes, permits, and inspections Track budgets, material orders, and change orders Proactively address on-site issues to minimize delays
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field 3-7 years of relevant experience in construction project management, ideally in commercial or tenant improvement projects Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Proven ability to manage timelines, budgets, and contractor relationships Proficiency with construction project tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar) Self-directed with strong problem-solving capabilities Availability for regular on-site visits and project meetings
