The Construction Project Manager will lead the planning,coordination, and execution of a 100,000 sq ft ground-up educationfacility, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget,and to quality standards. This role involves overseeing all phasesof construction, managing subcontractors and vendors, maintainingsafety compliance, and serving as the primary point of contact forstakeholders. Client Details Our client is a well-established,mid-sized commercial general contractor based in O’Fallon, MO. Witha strong reputation for quality and integrity, they specialize indelivering high-performance construction solutions throughout theSt. Louis metro and surrounding areas. Their portfolio is diverse,with approximately 60% of work in the public sector-includingeducation and municipal facilities-and 40% in private sectorprojects such as commercial and retail developments. All projectsare locally based, eliminating the need for travel, and range invalue from $3 million to $45 million. With an annual revenue ofapproximately $70 million, this company combines the stability of aseasoned builder with the close-knit culture of a regional firm.

Description Lead and manage all phases of construction for a100,000 sq ft ground-up K-12 or higher education facility frompreconstruction through project closeout Develop and maintaindetailed project schedules, budgets, and logistics plans incoordination with the project team and stakeholders Oversee anddirect on-site activities, ensuring work is performed in compliancewith plans, specifications, safety standards, and qualityexpectations Manage relationships with clients, architects,engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timelycommunication and resolution of issues Coordinate and lead projectmeetings, including OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) andsubcontractor meetings Ensure proper documentation, including RFIs,submittals, change orders, and daily reports, is maintainedthroughout the project life cycle Monitor and control project coststo ensure alignment with budgets and identify potential cost-savingopportunities Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks anddelays to maintain project timelines Ensure compliance with localbuilding codes, permitting processes, and safety regulations Fostera culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork on the job siteProfile 10 years of construction project management experience,preferably with a commercial general contractor Proven track recordof successfully managing ground-up projects ranging from 50,000 to150,000 sq ft, ideally in the education or public sector Strongunderstanding of all phases of construction, from preconstructionto closeout Proficiency with construction management software suchas Procore or Autodesk Build OSHA 10-Hour Certification (minimumrequirement); OSHA 30 is a plus Excellent leadership,communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manageteams and subcontractors effectively Demonstrated ability tomaintain project schedules and budgets while ensuring high-qualityand safe job site operations Skilled in reading and interpretingconstruction documents, contracts, and technical specificationsFamiliarity with local building codes, permitting processes, andinspection requirements Self-driven and detail-oriented with astrong commitment to delivering successful outcomes A degree inConstruction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is aplus Job Offer Base salary up to $135K (dependent on experience)The company pays $500 a month to cover the employees health,dental, and vision expenses 401(k) program Discretionary bonusesdependent on the individuals overall performance andresponsibilities Company Vehicle or Vehicle Allowance companycredit card to cover fuel and project related expenses 5 weeks PTOMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion,sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, nationalorigin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or basedon an individual’s status in any group or class protected byapplicable federal, state or local law.
