The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage day-to-day operations efficiently. The Foreman will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors on job sites. Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution. Assign tasks and provide clear instructions to crew members. Monitor work progress, quality, and adherence to safety regulations. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the construction process. Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, and coordinate procurement as needed. Enforce safety and protocol and ensure that workers wear personal protective equipment (PPE). Conduct regular safety meetings. Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation related to project progress and workforce activities. Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding project updates and issues. Qualifications Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry. Proficiency in construction management software, including Bluebeam and HeavyBid. Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control processes. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team on a construction site. Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, clients, and stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
