Preconstruction Manager Position Available In Madison, Mississippi
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Coordination:
Collaborate with consultants, subcontractor partners, and clients to coordinate design activities. Address and resolve design issues, tracking design and cost changes throughout development.
Preconstruction Leadership:
Develop and deliver best-in-class Preconstruction services to internal and external clients. Work closely with the Group Manager of Preconstruction to refine processes and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Client & Team Communication:
Serve as the single point of contact for internal and external clients during the preconstruction and planning phases. Keep project leadership informed on unresolved issues and provide regular updates.
Planning & Reporting:
Utilize tools to monitor project progress. Develop and oversee designs, cost estimates, and value engineering solutions. Collaboration with
Project Managers:
Provide guidance to project managers during the design phase to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
Support & Oversight:
Support commissioning and turnover functions at project completion. Ensure construction phase activities align with preconstruction plans and client expectations.
Other Duties:
Perform additional duties as required or assigned to support project success.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management.
Experience:
At least 10 years of electrical contracting or MEP coordination experience.
Travel:
15-25%.
