Commercial Construction Superintendent Perry Construction Company Philadelphia, MS 39350 Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and safety regulations. Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction teams to ensure project goals are met efficiently. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to coordinate all phases of construction. Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements. Manage project schedules using tools such as Primavera and ProCore to track progress and adjust timelines as necessary. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, safety compliance (OSHA), and adherence to budgets. Oversee contract negotiations and manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors. Utilize construction estimating techniques to prepare accurate budgets for projects. Implement safety protocols and ensure that all team members adhere to safety standards. Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members in construction best practices. Requirements Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction management software such as Prolog, Bluebeam, and ProCore. Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management in construction projects. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
