About the Position Managerial Construction Administration position accountable for administrative work directing, planning, analyzing, and coordinating facilities operations or services. Administers new construction, remodeling, and maintenance repair projects and contracts and the preparation, evaluation, and negotiation of bids, contracts, or lease agreements for commodities, services, or commercial properties. Oversees the administration of multiple contracts for the operation and maintenance of buildings. Works with agency staff, field staff, public officials, architects, engineers, surveyors, and contractors on new construction, repairs, and physical plant maintenance issues; offers resolutions to technical and procedural problems. Plans, coordinates, and directs new construction and preventative maintenance and repair projects. Supervises staff ensuring projects are completed according to established timeframes and within outlined specifications. What you’ll need to be Successful Successful candidates must have a good attitude, be ready and willing to learn and grow, have strong attention to detail, strong communication skills, and excellent organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of professional experience in the administration of construction projects.
