Administrator Construction Manager
Location:
Weaverville, NC As a Administrator Construction Manager, you’ll oversee OSP Construction activities performed by our contractors. Your role is crucial in ensuring that projects meet or exceed quality standards, are completed within budget, and align with design specifications. You’ll work closely with various departments, including Logistics, Contract Administration, ISP Engineering/COE, and Project Management.
Responsibilities:
Oversee permitting requirements, including Work Zone Protection (WZP) and Traffic Control plans (TCP)
Manage project scheduling to meet timelines
Conduct pre- and post-project inspections
Handle material management
Ensure accurate reporting of invoicing/timesheets
Maintain accurate records and attend pre-construction meetings
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of OSP Construction Standards and Practices
Familiarity with OSP Unit Descriptions and SSP contracts
Understanding of State, Local, and Company standards for Safety
Minimum five years of combined Outside Plant construction and splicing experience
Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather, extended driving, and lifting and carrying of moderately heavy objects
Willingness to work overtime, be on-call periodically for nights and weekends
