Volleyball Coordinator Responsibilities:
Manages daily functions for the league and teams to ensure smooth operations. Build relationships with players, guests, residents within the venue. Communicate and work on scheduling adjustments, cancellations, etc. as needed Observe, assess and assist during league play to support games, making sure events are successful for everyone involved. Monitor volleyball games to ensure professional, appropriate and fun play. Direct and enforce volleyball league rules, policies and guidelines are followed at all times. Partner with District Wellness Manager to maintain upkeep of equipment and materials at site. Request volleyball supplies and materials as needed. Prepare court and ensure site is welcoming and greeting for players and games. Pickup trash, loose items, materials left behind after games for upkeep of cleanliness of site. Support and help to bring in new business, book teams, and promote league play/sign-ups as necessary. Attend site specific meetings as it pertains to volleyball and operational efficiency of the organization. Maintain a safe environment for league play and throughout site. Assist restaurants with greeting and hosting guests, residents and customers as needed. Partner with site management to reprimand individuals who violate policies, display inappropriate behavior. Completing other tasks as directed and assigned.
Volleyball Coordinator Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge of Volleyball sport is desired. Ability to efficiently solve problems as they arise, think on feet. Willingness to work flexible hours (evenings, nights, weekends) The Goat is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
