Leadership Full Job Description Position Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Plumbing Manager to lead our Plumbing Department . This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily plumbing service and installation operations, commercial plumbing projects, managing field personnel, ensuring high-quality customer service, and driving strategic business unit performance. The ideal candidate brings a balance of market level plumbing knowledge and strong team leadership skills to maintain operational continuity and support ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage residential plumbing service technicians and installers, ensuring efficient daily operations. Oversee scheduling, work order management, and timely completion of service calls. Monitor and maintain service quality standards, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. Provide technical support, guidance, and mentorship to field personnel in conjunction with the Field Supervisor. Coordinate with parts and warehouse teams to ensure proper inventory and equipment availability. Track department KPIs, job costs, technician productivity, and performance metrics. Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of team members. Respond to escalated customer issues with professionalism and problem-solving ability. Collaborate with other department managers to align project timelines and service strategies.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in residential or commercial plumbing service, with at least 5 years in a management role. Proven leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to manage a dynamic service team. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, service protocols, and applicable codes. Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid plumbing license and driver’s license (P1 or P2).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in an interim or transitional leadership role. OSHA certification or safety leadership training. Familiarity with dispatch and CRM platforms (e.g., ServiceTitan) Ability to drive accountability and performance improvement in field staff.
