Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our construction project management team. The APM will assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, safety standards, and quality benchmarks are met.

TBD Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager in all phases of the construction project lifecycle. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. Help prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules, budgets, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes. Monitor project progress and prepare status reports for stakeholders. Support in procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Attend site meetings, document observations, and assist in resolving field issues. Track and help manage project costs, invoicing, and financial reporting. Support quality assurance and quality control efforts on-site.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2-4 years of experience in construction project coordination or management. Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and cost tracking. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite). Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to visit construction sites regularly. May require occasional lifting, standing, walking on uneven surfaces, and exposure to outdoor conditions.
