Full Job Description Construction Project Manager Location:

$80k-$110k Position Overview Are you ready to lead transformative construction projects from concept to completion? You’ll be responsible for managing every phase of the project lifecycle—from budgeting and purchasing to scheduling and coordination—ensuring successful delivery while meeting client expectations and maintaining budget discipline. This is a dynamic role that combines leadership, technical expertise, and strategic planning in a collaborative team environment. You’ll work closely with internal departments, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to turn vision into reality. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Lead project kickoff meetings and ensure all project documentation and participant lists are current and complete. Participate in client and internal project review meetings. Review the conceptual scope and budget with leadership and collaborate on finalizing project goals. Assess site conditions and project-specific requirements; lead the material ordering process. Coordinate follow-up meetings and ensure timely approvals. Design & Value Engineering Collaborate with design teams during early-phase reviews to enhance constructability and suggest alternative methods or materials. Participate in drawing redline reviews to ensure practical implementation. Partner with estimating and design teams to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Conduct value engineering and finalize project readiness with your supervisor. Procurement & Budget Management Work alongside estimators to develop accurate construction cost estimates. Review scopes of work and material choices for alignment with project goals. Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to finalize design and cost proposals. Ensure careful selection of vendors and partners based on performance, quality, and value. Project Execution & Leadership Lead kickoff meetings with all project stakeholders, reviewing approvals, timelines, and deliverables. Act as a key liaison between clients, the internal team, subcontractors, and trades. Process monthly pay applications in coordination with the accounting team. Manage change orders, ensuring transparency and control with all stakeholders. Construction Oversight Oversee and coordinate all phases of construction, including approvals, inspections, and timelines. Manage shop drawings, submittals, and approval processes, ensuring all parties have up-to-date documentation. Regularly review site and technical drawings (Architectural, Structural, MEPs) for compliance and completeness. Maintain project schedules with input from the Superintendent. Administrative Support Prepare project correspondence, schedule team meetings, handle documentation, and support other administrative needs throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications & Skills 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management or estimating. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of construction concepts, scheduling, budgeting, and cost controls. Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering plans. Experience in Retail, Medical, or Institutional construction is highly preferred. Design-Build project experience is a strong plus. Familiarity with Timberline (Sage), MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
