Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Aluminum Detailing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage and coordinate all aspects of steel detailing processes, ensuring smooth communication between clients, engineers, fabricators, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the coordination of all aluminum detailing projects from initiation through completion. Manage and review project drawings, specifications, and related documents. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure proper design and fabrication standards. Schedule and prioritize work for detailing teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Complete submittals for client approval. Complete bill of materials for purchasing. Manage inventory of bulk purchasing. Monitor progress and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to detailing, fabrication, or design. Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on project status and manage expectations. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in steel detailing or a related field, with at least 2-5 years in a coordination role. Strong understanding of steel detailing software (e.g., Tekla Structures, SDS/2, AutoCAD). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of aluminum fabrication processes and industry standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with project management software. Experience in steel or aluminum detailing or related fields.
