Construction Superintendent Neuse River Homes Clayton, NC 27528 • Hybrid work Neuse River Homes, a residential home builder located in Clayton, NC is committed to strong values and fostering a supportive work environment. We are seeking an experienced superintendent to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be self- driven, organized and posses excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete all duties in accordance with Neuse River Homes core values and company standards. Coordinate and schedule subcontractors Ensure work is being completed on schedule and in accordance with plan specifications and requests Ensure contractors have all equipment and information necessary to complete tasks Understand the company’s construction goals and communicate to all field personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers. Establish the punch list process and close-out procedures to ensure work is completed in a timely manner. Self-perform some tasks when required to keep the project on schedule or closed out Ensure job safety requirements are understood and implemented Ensure job sites are clean and maintained Keep building manager and management team up to date on all projects Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience:
3-5 years of experience in construction management or related roles with proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish Strong verbal and written communication Excellent problem-solving skills Keen attention to detail and organization to manage multiple tasks and ensure compliance with CCA goals Solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations and industry best practices.
