Multi-Project Oversight Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Life Science QA/QC Manager to join our team and oversee quality assurance and quality control processes across several commercial electrical projects within the life science and pharmaceutical sectors. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that all materials, installations, and processes align with industry standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical background , is experienced in managing heavy documentation, is highly organized, and is comfortable managing QA/QC workflows across multiple active job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform on-site inspection of materials and electrical equipment upon delivery, verifying accuracy against approved submittals. Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely QA/QC documentation including checklists, inspection forms, and daily reports. Create and submit daily QA/QC reports outlining checked-in materials and equipment. Act as the primary point of contact (POC) on-site for change orders, including preparing cost breakdowns, coordinating pricing, and submitting documentation for approval. Ensure compliance with project drawings, codes, and standards—especially in highly regulated pharmaceutical construction environments . Use Procore, Bluebeam, and Excel to manage reports, approvals, and project documents. Assist in the verification of BIM (Building Information Modeling) to ensure proper equipment installation and placement. Sign off on QA/QC reports and ensure final project documentation is submitted accurately and completely. Maintain and track online forms, employee training logs, and inspection data. Manage QA/QC processes across multiple active job sites in Johnston County.

Qualifications:

7+ years of hands-on experience in electrical construction (commercial projects). 5+ years of proven experience managing QA/QC processes . Pharmaceutical or life science industry experience strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of paperwork and documentation. Demonstrated ability to review submittals and shop drawings , track materials, and coordinate deliveries. Solid understanding of BIM coordination and equipment installation verification . Proficient in Bluebeam, Procore, Excel (XLS), and iPad-based apps for project documentation and field coordination. Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to coordinate between field crews, vendors, engineers, and clients. Comfortable managing QA/QC across multiple simultaneous job sites . OSHA 10 or 30 certification required. Strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and a solutions-oriented attitude.
