JOB SUMMARY

Up to $70,000 Annual Salary
MBA Roofing is seeking a highly organized and proactive Superintendent to manage project logistics, build strong relationships with clients and subcontractor crews, and oversee efficient material and job site management. This role is responsible for the entire commercial roofing process, ensuring projects meet and exceed MBA Roofing’s quality and safety standards. The Superintendent plays a key role in project success by providing hands-on support, coordinating with subcontractors and general contractors (GCs), and addressing client needs promptly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client and Subcontractor Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact for subcontractor crews, GCs, and superintendents on job sites.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring project satisfaction.
Collaborate with project teams and on-site personnel to ensure smooth operations and communication.
Material and Logistics Management
Coordinate with estimators to schedule and order job materials efficiently.
Manage material deliveries and pickups throughout the project lifecycle, addressing immediate needs as they arise.
Oversee the scheduling of material deliveries, orders, and pickups, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
Transport and deliver trailers, tools, and materials to job sites as required.
Maintain trailers and stay on top of any maintenance, repairs, or tire issues On-Site Support
Conduct on-site measurements and core sampling as needed for project specifications.
Monitor job sites to ensure materials, resources, and crews are appropriately allocated and supported.
Enforce and monitor safety protocols to ensure subcontractor adherence to OSHA standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience in a superintendent or project coordination role, preferably in the commercial roofing or construction industry.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing project needs promptly.
Familiarity with roofing materials and construction processes.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical capability to transport materials and equipment to job sites.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

The Superintendent will primarily work at job sites and in the office, often exposed to a range of weather conditions, including extreme heat over 90 degrees, cold temperatures in the teens, and rain. This role requires the ability to frequently lift and move up to 70 pounds, as well as perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing, crawling, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and gripping while navigating uneven surfaces. Additionally, the Superintendent must be able to safely climb ladders up to 60 feet while carrying up to 30 pounds and correctly wear personal protective equipment.
