Assistant Construction Project Manager Blue Haven Pools – Charlotte 1522 Cross Beam Drive, Charlotte, NC 28217 Job description Blue Haven Pools, the World’s Largest Pool Builder , is looking for a assistant project manager (APM) to join an established team in the Charlotte NC area. Blue Haven builds high-end custom swimming pools fulfilling many customers lifelong dream. The APM will assist in overseeing and supervision of in-field construction crews in accordance with job schedule while exceeding customers expectation. Our Assistant Project Managers are involved with each project throughout the construction. The position is an on-site Assistant project manager position with only a few hours a week spent at the corporate office located in Charlotte for meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists all phases of the pool installation process, adding photos and creating a daily log in our project management software and ensuring all inspections are completed/ passed. Conducts regular meetings with the Project Managers in order to review the progress of each assigned project and to discuss and resolve any outstanding issues. Ensures that any site concerns are addressed and corrected in a timely manor. APMs are responsible for evaluating the performance of construction crews at each stage of the project, guide the solution and only accept the highest quality result. Assure that records of all change orders are properly collected and maintained. Be involved personally and proactively with any actual or perceived vendor scheduling, communication or customer punch list related issues.
