Job Summary:
The Commercial Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of a commercial constructions managing a 12 Story School Building project starting in Huntersville, NC from inception to completion. This role ensures that the project are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent will manage on-site construction activities, supervise subcontractors and construction crews, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
Team Leadership:
Manage and supervise on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers.
Quality Control:
Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards and in compliance with project specifications and building codes.
Safety Compliance:
Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Resource Management:
Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment, and manage inventory on-site.
Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed daily logs of construction activities, progress reports, and any changes to project plans.
Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
