The role is centered on materials testing and requires a strong blend of technical, operational, and interpersonal skills. Job Description We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead geotechnical engineering projects from conception through completion. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will also play a key role in managing office staff, fostering a positive team environment, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Responsibilities Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from proposal through final deliverables. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met. Supervise and mentor office staff, including engineers, technicians, and administrative personnel. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation. Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards and client expectations. Communicate effectively and tactfully with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively. Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations. Essential Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with at least 2 years in a project management role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. High level of professionalism and client service orientation. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience managing staff is a plus. Experience in construction materials is a plus.
