Our Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) segment reflects our commitment to proactive project management, ensuring cost certainty and delivering value-driven results. The Preconstruction Manager will play a critical role in the early stages of our CMAR projects, providing leadership and expertise to ensure successful project planning, budgeting, and coordination. This individual will work closely with owners, design teams, and project stakeholders to develop comprehensive preconstruction strategies aligned with project goals and commitment to quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead preconstruction efforts for CMAR projects from concept through construction handoff.
Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to establish project objectives and design parameters.
Develop and manage preconstruction schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize project costs and performance.
Oversee subcontractor prequalification, bid solicitation, and scope review processes.
Ensure alignment between project scope, schedule, and budget through continuous cost control measures.
Present preconstruction findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
Support contract negotiation and procurement processes.
Foster strong relationships with clients and industry partners to ensure project success and long-term collaboration.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of preconstruction experience, with a focus on CMAR projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, cost estimating, scheduling, and value engineering.
Proficiency in preconstruction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools).
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
