Hybrid, 3 days per week in Charlotte, NC (full relocation assistance available)

Salary:

$140,000 – $180,000 USD + Bonus + 401K Matching + Benefits + 3-4 weeks

Vacation Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of 3-8 Estimators, overseeing bids and proposals. Manage project estimates for labor, material, and subcontractor costs. Chair team meetings and review design options to recommend cost-effective solutions. Guide risk assessment processes and manage risk registers. Ensure smooth handoff of estimating documents to project execution teams. Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

What You’ll Need:

10+ years of experience in major project estimating, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven expertise in large infrastructure projects ($100M+) for a heavy civil contractor, including bid management. Strong understanding of construction drawings, project controls, and contract terms. Proficiency in MS Excel/Word, P6, Hard Dollar, or similar estimating software. Excellent people management and mentorship skills.
