DESCRIPTION

The Tower Supervisor is responsible for forecasting both resource needs and customer needs in a hub environment daily. The Tower Supervisor directs ABM personnel who utilize the AvTech dispatching software and other AA technologies. This key orchestrator monitors efficient utilization of resources to ensure on-time operations and a quality product. The Tower Supervisor is a critical liaison and key representative of ABM in large airline operations where automated dispatch has been implemented.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Forecasts ABM operational activity utilizing AvTech dispatching technology and software
Liaisons with airline operations control personnel to protect operational integrity
Initial consultation and resolution of aircraft servicing issues and delays with airline tower personnel
Maintains all required documentation and ensures its accuracy, timely completion and distribution at the end of each day
Creates and maintains resource efficiencies through the use of AvTech technologies
Maintains a high level of customer service with both internal and external customers
Manage station financials via billing through AA programs
Review airline proposed schedules, provide feedback to customer and provide recommendation to peer managers on scheduling needs
Organize and facilitate AvTech training curriculum to tower coordinators on a regular basis Qualifications Strong working knowledge of airline operations in a hub environment; airline tower experience preferred
Knowledgeable in AA technologies and/or AvTech dispatching software
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office software; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MSTeams
Ability to understand operational implications in day-to-day decisions
Ability to develop effective relationships at all levels
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
