Travelling HVAC Project Manager/Estimator needed ASAP for awell-respected, growing company! If so, I want to hear from you! TheOpportunity includes Base Salary Plus Full Benefits. Candidates canlive anywhere and the US, but you must be able to travel to aproject when asked from then you will work remote pay is up to$130k DOE on a salary plus per diem. This is a Full-TimeRole/Opportunity. Our ideal candidate for a Project Manager will besomeone who has 2 – 5 years of experience as a Mechanical ProjectManager or in a similar role. They will be someone who ispersonable, high energy, and will bring a strong sense ofleadership, direction, and commitment to our projects. Primaryresponsibilities for a Project Manager include: Managing andcoordinating mechanical construction projects from conception tocompletion. Fully understanding all projects in-depth, enablingyourself to: order materials/equipment, issue subcontracts, developbillings, complete and manage RFIs and change orders, as well asprepare/review submittals etc. You must be able to ensure allproject team members are fully informed of this information.
Maintaining a working knowledge of general conditions, work scopeand specifications of project contract/subcontract. Planning aheadto prevent problems and resolve any emerging issues before theybecome a problem. Estimating and selling projects of various types:plan/spec, design/assist, design/build. Oversee the preparation offabrication shop work packages and possess a strong understandingof the content including detail drawing review, material take-offand buyout and man-hour fabrication budget. Working hand and handwith our company’s Safety Department to analyze, manage andmitigate project risks, as well as ensure safety on the jobsites.
This also includes overseeing all onsite and offsite constructionto monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
Ensuring contractual conditions of performance are met.
Primaryqualifications for Project Manager include:
2 – 5 years as aProject Manager in Mechanical Construction is required. Bachelor’sdegree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, orproven working experience in Construction Management is required.
Knowledge of HVAC and Piping Systems, building products,construction details/design and relevant rules, regulations andquality standards is preferred. Familiarity with constructionmanagement software packagesoverall strong computer skills arepreferred. Working knowledge of P6 or Microsoft Project andwillingness to learn. Self-motivated with excellent time andproject management skills. Possesses a strong personal commitmentfor long-term and meaningful goals. Ability to work within anenvironment with deadlines while having to multi-task with changingpriorities. Demonstrate confidence in their knowledge and arecommitted to researching the answers and finding the right solutionfor things they do not know.
