Shop Foreman TJ diesel Rocky Mount, NC 27803 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Supervisor to oversee operations in our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring quality control, and supervising a team of skilled workers. This role requires strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel to ensure efficient workflow. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in all projects. Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting. Review and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to guide the team effectively. Manage construction estimating processes using software like HeavyBid. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Oversee pipeline construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and specifications. Provide training and mentorship to staff on best practices in construction management. Skills Proficient in quality control methodologies and processes. Familiarity with electrical testing equipment, including Ohmmeters. Experience with HeavyBid software for accurate project estimating. Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations. Expertise in construction management principles and practices. Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints effectively. Experience in supervising teams within a construction or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of pipeline construction techniques and requirements.
