In this role you’ll be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, technical knowledge, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee an upcoming project located at a port in Wilmington, NC. Oversee daily field operations, supervising crews, subcontractors, and vendors on civil construction sites. Manage project scheduling, execution, quality control, and adherence to plans and specifications. Promote and enforce strong jobsite safety practices, OSHA standards, and company policies. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure work progresses smoothly. Maintain detailed daily project reports on labor, materials, and equipment usage.

Requirements:

5-10 years of experience as a Civil Superintendent. Strong knowledge of NCDOT specifications and heavy highway construction. Proficiency in construction management software and excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to obtain a TWIC card and meet physical demands of fieldwork. Valid driver”s license and willingness to travel within NC, SC, and GA.
