We specialize in retractable porch screens, we work throughout the Raliegh area, most of our work happens on the porch and we complete 1-4 projects per day. We have been in business for 25+ years and offer a professional, customer-centric work environment. Our goal is to hire someone to learn multiple sides of the business, quickly place them in a customer facing role interacting with builders and home owners, and hopefully work into a senior management role. Job Overview We are seeking someone with either relevant experience, a college degree, or comparable military experience. The ideal candidate will be reliable, motivated, and presentable. They will become a system matter expert on our products. They will meet with clients to discuss solutions and applications. They will take detailed notes and orders, and communicate those to office staff using online software tools. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a thorough understanding of construction management processes. Duties Manage your calendar using a provided laptop, cellphone, and work vehicle to meet clients onsite to discuss new and existing projects involving porch screening. Provide clients with a dependable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable point of contact, representing a longstanding and well respected industry brand. Take detailed notes with accurate measurements used for ordering specialty manufactured products for later installation onsite. Provide thought leadership on installation applications for use by install teams at a later date. Interface with office personnel to manage projects with software applications. Provide mentoring to junior staff Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and maintain safety standards. Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate effective communication and project execution. Prepare and review construction estimates to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Implement project management best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity. Maintain documentation related to contracts, change orders, and project schedules. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management or a related field.
