Job Description

GFM Assistant Farrell Insulation 815 Corporate Circle, Salisbury, NC 28147 The GFM Assistant will play a critical support role within Farrell Insulation’s Salisbury branch by helping the General Field Manager (GFM) oversee daily field operations, maintain personnel documentation, handle scheduling and travel changes, coordinate equipment issues, and serve as the primary liaison between the field and HR/payroll departments. This is a fast-paced, high-responsibility position requiring excellent organization, communication, and follow-through.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily Operations Support Report daily to the Salisbury branch and work directly alongside the GFM Maintain up-to-date personnel records and ensure proper staffing levels in-house Monitor and review GPS and camera footage to identify concerns and provide accountability Track and evaluate overtime hours for field personnel Assist with personnel issues, complaints, and corrective action documentation (including write-ups) Scheduling & Communication Maintain the branch scheduling system with current assignments, changes, and travel adjustments Assist with coordination of employee accommodations and travel as needed Ensure all schedule modifications are communicated to relevant departments and personnel Equipment & Facilities Schedule and manage repairs to field devices and equipment Handle ordering and delivery tracking of replacement parts or tools as needed Reporting & Administration Submit all branch receipts, reimbursements, and per diem documentation to the payroll department in a timely and organized manner Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports Review and respond to HR-related correspondence and submit all personnel forms and updates to the HR department Coordinate documentation for employee corrective actions or compliance reviews

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 years of administrative or field coordination experience Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail) Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure Familiarity with scheduling tools, GPS review platforms, or camera systems preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience with employee record handling, receipts, and per diem processing a plus

OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

This position may include other administrative, logistical, or support duties based on branch needs and evolving project demands.

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:

$18.00 – $20.00 per hour
