Construction Project Manager Overview We are seeking an experienced Commercial Masonry Construction Project Manager to join our growing team in Indian Trail, NC. This key leadership role will oversee the execution of our commercial construction projects, ensuring exceptional quality, timely completion, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will excel at managing established project plans and budgets while coordinating with on-site teams to maintain construction schedules and quality standards. Key Responsibilities for a Construction Project Manager Execute commercial construction masonry projects according to established plans and specifications Manage project implementation within predetermined budgets and timelines Monitor and track expenses against established budgets to ensure project profitability Visit job sites 2-3 times weekly to oversee progress, quality, and address any concerns Coordinate directly with on-site teams to manage material deliveries, production timelines, and overall project schedules Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations, local building codes, and industry quality standards on all job sites Lead, mentor, and supervise masonry crews, maximizing productivity while maintaining our high-quality standards Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and promptly addressing any concerns Manage material procurement and inventory based on project schedules Review construction documents, specifications, RFIs, and submittals for accuracy and completeness Identify and resolve construction issues quickly to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets Document project progress and maintain detailed records Qualifications 5+ years experience as a construction project manager, specifically with commercial masonry projects Comprehensive knowledge of masonry materials and techniques (brick, block, stone, concrete, etc.) Proven track record of successfully managing commercial construction projects Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, specifications, and contract documents Proficiency in construction management software including: Procore or similar construction project management platforms Microsoft Project for monitoring and maintaining project schedules Bluebeam Revu for document review and markup Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong leadership abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills OSHA 30-hour certification preferred Ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered) Travel Requirements Regular travel to job sites throughout the Charlotte metro area (2-3 times weekly) Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation required Mileage reimbursement provided for all work-related travel to job sites Physical Requirements Ability to navigate active construction sites for regular inspections Capable of lifting construction materials or equipment up to 50 lbs What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($80,000-$115,000 based on qualifications) Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and retirement plan options Mileage reimbursement for all job site visits Opportunity for professional growth within a respected, established masonry company Stable work environment with a company that values quality craftsmanship and employee satisfaction How to Apply Join our team of masonry professionals and help build beautiful, lasting structures throughout the Charlotte metro area.
