Then this is the next step for you! One of our global pharmaceutical clients is currently requiring an experienced Construction Project Manager for their North Carolina based location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following: Manage and oversee daily construction activities for the production building, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and GMP standards. Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for the delivery and installation of critical equipment, including high-purity piping systems, HVAC units, bioreactors, and process utility systems. Develop and manage construction schedules, labor budgets, and material logistics to ensure timely project delivery. Conduct design and constructability reviews to identify potential challenges and recommend solutions. Provide leadership for commissioning, start-up, and validation teams, ensuring smooth transitions from construction to operational readiness. Ensure documentation for quality and validation is reviewed and meets regulatory and project requirements. Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to resolve construction-related issues and achieve project goals.
Desirable Experience:
Extensive experience in construction management or superintendent roles Experience supporting EPCM projects of over $500m (ideally within pharma, biotech, or regulated manufacturing) Comfortable managing multiple subcontractors across large facilities Strong knowledge of cGMP processes, high-purity piping systems, and equipment installations. Proficiency in construction scheduling, budget management, and quality control processes. Proven ability to coordinate across disciplines, including design, construction, commissioning, and validation teams. Excellent communication skills with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
