The company sells and services Commercial & Multi-Family New Construction projects all around the southeast region providing turnkey installations on all flooring products and was recently ranked in the Top 50 Flooring Dealers in the country. ProFloors is looking to service numerous upcoming projects in the Charlotte and the North Carolina region.

Synopsis:

This is an immediate opening for a full time position for the job of a Flooring Superintendent. The Superintendent will work directly with the Project Manager/Account Managers and General Superintendent in the new construction division.

Primary duties:
  • Receive ongoing jobsite deliveries
  • Distribute and Manage materials throughout the projects
  • Conduct physical inventory counts after each install & report to office
  • Scheduling with GC and home office upcoming scopes/installs
  • Pre and Post install site walks
  • Installation coordination
  • Access installation performance per schedule
  • Punchlist coordination (GS, Crews, Office)
  • Communication with GC, Crews, Office on a daily basis
  • Daily reporting to GC & home office Ideal candidates will have:
  • Some knowledge of flooring materials and installation methods is beneficial
  • The ability to read construction plans and/or experience working for a home builder, general contractor or subcontractor
  • An understanding of the construction process beneficial but is not required
  • Strong phone and email communication as well as the ability to multi-task in a hectic environment
  • The ability to read and speak basic Spanish is advantageous but not required
  • Forklift Certified
  • OSHA Certified

  • Clean driving record is required & dependable transportation
  • Experience in construction or a desire to learn the process
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, selections, and specifications
  • Desire to seek out the most efficient and effective way to solve problems and complete tasks
  • Ability to think quickly, make decisions, and direct ProFloors personnel as needed
  • High quality standards and confidence
  • Ability to use mobile devices (smartphones and iPads) and to effectively communicate via email and phone
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to call clients to discuss concerns
  • Excellent organization and time management skills are essential
  • Strong sense of urgency and follow-through to make sure our tasks are completed correctly, on time
