Asphalt Foreman 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars Raleigh, NC 27629 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee Asphalt resurfacing projects and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage teams effectively. You will be responsible for coordinating activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and utilizing construction management software to facilitate project tracking and reporting. Duties Supervise daily operations on the job site, ensuring all tasks are carried out efficiently and safely. Manage project scheduling and resource allocation to meet project deadlines. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and HeavyBid for project tracking and documentation. Read and interpret schematics to guide construction processes accurately. Conduct regular safety inspections in compliance with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Train and mentor team members in best practices for pipeline construction and equipment operation. Perform quality control checks on work completed by crew members to ensure adherence to specifications. Maintain clear communication with project managers and stakeholders regarding project progress and any issues that arise. Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of pipeline construction techniques and safety protocols. Familiarity with construction management software, including ProCore and HeavyBid. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively. Competence in using tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical testing as needed. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team development and performance improvement. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to workplace safety is essential.
