Come build your future with us! About the Role The Assistant Project Manager – Construction will play a crucial role in supporting the project team throughout the construction process. This position involves managing trade and building permits, monitoring field operations, reviewing design drawings, managing Procore documents, overseeing the bidding process, and assisting with construction financials. The Assistant Project Manager will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the construction schedule, reviewing contract scopes, updating project performance reports, and managing the closeout process. Compliance with company standards, health and safety regulations, and local, state, and federal laws is essential. What You’ll Do Below is a snapshot of what this role is all about. While there is more to it, this is the core focus. Permit Management Assist and manage trade and building permits during construction. Field Operations Monitor field operations and ensure smooth progress. Design Review Provide detailed feedback on design drawings for constructability and jurisdictional requirements. Document Management Oversee Procore documents including drawings, change orders, change events, photos, RFIs, submittals, etc. Bidding Process Create bid packages, review bids, and manage preliminary budgets. Construction Documents Develop thorough knowledge of all construction documents including drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders. Financial Management Assist with project budget and subcontractor payment application reviews. Scheduling Maintain the baseline construction schedule and develop short-term look-ahead schedules. Contract Review Ensure accuracy and completeness of contract and change order scopes of work. Reporting Update and report on project performance through weekly and monthly reports, progress photos, etc. Closeout Process Manage documentation for the closeout process. What You’ll Need Education and Certifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or related field preferred. Valid Driver’s License required. OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour certification preferred. Experience Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in construction project management or related roles. Multi-family construction experience preferred. Experience with construction estimating and scheduling processes. Experience with Procore or similar construction management software Skills and Competencies Knowledge and understanding of pre-construction reports, construction documents, drawings and specifications, construction means, methods and materials. Advanced computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Bluebeam. Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore). Ability to review and interpret design drawings and specifications. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Ability to follow complex oral and written instruction. Strong dependability, flexibility, and teamwork. Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills. Ability to interact and communicate effectively within the organization, as well as with Trade Partners, (i.e., Subcontractors, Consultants, Municipality Officials and Inspectors, etc.) and all associates on the project site. LI-LISA Estimated Rate of Pay:

$110,000.00 – $140,000.00 This position is exempt; the range above reflects annual salary. The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity•. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any).
