Job Description
Trillium Construction is hiring for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent with a strong background in multi-family residential construction to work on a large-scale apartment complex. The ideal candidate will support the Superintendent in overseeing on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties:
Assist the Superintendent in daily site operations and project coordination. Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules. Monitor subcontractor performance, site safety, and quality control. Help coordinate and schedule labor, materials, and equipment deliveries. Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship meets company standards. Maintain and document daily reports, job logs, and safety records. Collaborate with the Superintendent, Project Manager, and trade partners to resolve issues in the field. Participate in project meetings and walkthroughs. Assist in enforcing safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and company policies. Track and report progress against project milestones.
Compensation:
Annual Salary between $60,000 – $80,000 M/V/D insurance LT Disability 401(k)
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a construction role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or assistant superintendent capacity. Proven experience in multi-family construction (apartments, condos, etc.) is required . Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading. Knowledge of building codes, OSHA regulations, and safety practices. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Proficient with construction management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project scheduling tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar). High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
