Construction PlannerJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Project Planner responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining the schedule for a service center relocation project. This crucial role ensures the project’s timely and successful completion by collaborating closely with managers and teams to define project milestones, allocate resources, and track progress. The planner will also proactively identify and mitigate potential risks that could affect the project’s timeline or budget. Responsibilities + Develop, manage, and maintain the project schedule for the service center relocation. + Collaborate with managers and teams to define project milestones and allocate resources. + Track project progress and ensure alignment with the timeline. + Identify and mitigate potential risks to the project’s timeline or budget. + Contribute to the architectural and design aspects of the project. Essential Skills + Proficiency in project management, construction, and architecture. + Experience in commercial construction and project controls. + Familiarity with MS Project. + Experience with construction project management, including change orders, RFIs, and project coordination. + Strong skills in design, retail, pharma, and life sciences projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Construction Management + Planning/Scheduling + MS Project certification + Preferred experience with construction and/or relocation projects. + 5+ years in project-based roles preferred. + Must be local to Raleigh. Work Environment The work is conducted at a new construction site at the RIW building in Raleigh. The area is occupied, requiring coordination with other businesses and people. This opportunity provides invaluable experience working with a specialty brand in a 16-month project, offering a unique blend of construction management and architectural/design responsibilities. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 – $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
