Job Description

Trillium Co nstruction is hiring for a Field Project Engineer in Raleigh, NC to assist on large-scale co mmercial co nstruction projects in the area. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with a co mpetitive salary and benefits!

Duties:
  • Support daily field operations, including scheduling, co ordination, and quality co ntrol.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports.
  • Track and update project schedules and progress using scheduling software.
  • Co nduct on-site inspections to monitor co mpliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Co ordinate with sub co ntractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Assist with quantity takeoffs, material procurement, and co st tracking.
  • Participate in project meetings and document key out co mes and action items.
  • Maintain and update co nstruction drawings and specifications in the field.
  • Work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to identify and resolve field issues.
  • Enforce site safety policies and support co mpany safety initiatives.
Co mpensation:
  • Annual salary between $80,000

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Co nstruction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in co mmercial co nstruction preferred (internship or co
  • op experience accepted).
  • Strong understanding of co nstruction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in co nstruction management software (e.g., Pro co re, Bluebeam, MS Project, or Primavera).
  • Excellent co mmunication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to work on-site daily and travel between job sites as required.
